located in the homonymous &#8220;Gulf of La Spezia&#8221;, known as the &#8220;Gulf of poets&#8221;, with <strong>Portovenere and its islands<\/strong> in the west, with the territory of Tramonti that goes as far as the &#8220;Cinque Terre&#8221;, while to the east we find Lerici and its wonderful castle.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"en-US\">Portovenere is a seaside village consisting of a series of houses aligned on the Doria calata, almost forming a medieval fortress and in front of the village we find its three islands: Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto.Lerici instead is a village of Roman origins famous for its its medieval castle and is now also home to a paleontological of which we find <strong>the modern &#8220;Fountain of Dialogue&#8221;<\/strong> and from here starts <strong>via del Prione, a historic street full of shops<\/strong> and refreshment points that reaches the seafront.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"en-US\">Going down via del Prione, if we turn left into via Indipendenza, we find the lift that takes us to <strong>the castle, home to the Civic Archaeological collections,<\/strong> from whose terrace you can enjoy a priceless view.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"en-US\">On the opposite side of via Indipendenza it is possible to reach via Biassa which takes us to piazza Beverini, where we find <strong>the church dedicated to S. Maria Assunta<\/strong>. The square is bordered by Corso Cavour, a famous shopping street.<\/span><\/p><p><span lang=\"en-US\">Last but not least, we remember<strong> via Chiodo with its arcades<\/strong>, which starts from Piazza Verdi and reaches the military arsenal, where we find <strong>the naval technical museum of the &#8220;Navy&#8221;<\/strong>.
